Tailwag Game Studio LLC (referred to as “Tailwag”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) develops and publishes games and websites for computers and mobile devices. The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide you with all the important information and explanations, if applicable, about what data we collect, why we collect your data, and how your data is used by Tailwag when you use one of our games, applications, or websites (collectively, “Tailwag Services”, or “Services”). This Privacy Policy (referred to as “Policy”) governs and details the ways we collect, store, use, and disclose personal data that our users provide in order to develop, publish and monetize Tailwag Services. The scope of this Policy is limited to information and data collected or received by Tailwag through your use of our Services. Tailwag is not responsible for the actions of individuals with no relationship to Tailwag or third-party companies, the content of their sites, the use of information or data you provide them, or any products or services they may offer. Any link to those sites from our Services does not constitute our sponsorship of, or affiliation with, those individuals or companies.

Who is requesting your data?

Tailwag Game Studio LLC, a limited liability company registered in the state of Florida in the United States of America.

What data is being requested?

  • Your IP address for device and/or account identification purposes.

  • Your Google Play Games activity and personal identifiers

  • Your Mobile Advertising ID (Apple IDFA or Google AAID - which are technical identifiers developed by mobile operating systems for advertising purposes which remain under your control and can be reset or erased at any time in through your device settings)

  • Technical information about the device you use and your connection (device make, model, and operating system; device properties related to screen size and orientation, audio volume and battery; carrier; Country, time zone, and locale settings; network connection type and speed; internet browser user-agent used to access our Services)

  • Data pertaining to your activities on our applications and notably the way in which you interact with our applications (for instance, how and when you use our applications) and with the advertising served in our applications (for instance, number of ads served, potential clicks)

  • If you make a purchase while using our Services, payment information is requested by our payment processing service provider. This information includes your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, billing address, and complete credit card information.

The data being requested may vary depending on which Tailwag Services you are using, but does not exceed the scope of the data types covered in this section. The privacy policies of our partners may include additional terms and disclosures regarding their data collection and use practices.


Why is your data being requested?

  • To backup your data in Google Drive and associate you with your Google Play Games data.

  • For payment processing, when you order any good or service through the Services, including any virtual currency or virtual good.

    • Legal basis – such data processing is strictly necessary for the service(s) asked

  • To provide you with specific services (i.e. tracking achievements, leaderboard rankings, and knowing that you completed prerequisites to unlock additional content).

    • Legal basis – such data processing is strictly necessary for the service(s) asked

  • To run analytics and understand how users interact with our product and services in order to continuously improve it either directly or through third party partners (i.e. identifying and troubleshooting errors, and adjusting, improving, and optimizing game settings).

    • Legal basis for third party analytics - Express consent. In the countries where collecting users’ consent may be required by applicable laws and regulations, Tailwag only shares personal data collected through Tailwag Services with third party partners that provide Tailwag with analytics services once you express your consent through the pop-up notice included in our apps.

  • To serve advertising, through third party services, tailored to the preference and interests of our users and allow Tailwag to continue to provide free services and products

    • Legal basis – Express consent. In the countries where collecting users’ consent may be required by applicable laws and regulations, Tailwag only processes or shares personal data collected through Tailwag apps for personalized advertising purposes once you express your consent through the pop-up notice included in one of our apps.

For all data processing activities that rely on users’ consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that in the case where you withdraw your consent or where you refuse to consent in the first place, you will still be served with advertising but that may be less relevant to you as it will not be tailored to your interests.

Who do we share your data with & why?

Tailwag does not share your personal data with third parties without your prior consent and please be aware that collecting users’ consent may be required by applicable laws and regulations in your Country. When you consent to the collection of data for advertising and analytics purpose, we share the data listed above with the following categories of recipients:

  • Ad Partners: that allow us to monetize the ad inventory of our apps and provide users with free products and services.

Those partners usually collect data via their own tools (Software Development Kits or “SDK”). You will find a list of our partners implementing advertising SDKs through our applications and the privacy policies of their services that describe their practices and allow you to exercise your rights directly toward them hereafter:




Security and other important information

Tailwag takes reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or against loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected on the Services in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during transmission or its storage on our systems. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information. We do not warrant or represent that your information will be protected against loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

How long does Tailwag keep your data?

Personal data collected, received and processed for the purposes described in this policy is not kept longer than necessary by Tailwag to provide you our Services.

Children data

Tailwag never knowingly or willingly collect(s) or solicit(s) any personal data concerning children under 13 years of age, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA). What rights do you have?

Consent withdrawal

You can change your consent status at any time from your device settings. To remove consent on your mobile device, choose Settings, then choose Apps, then choose the game or application which you would like to withdraw your consent from, then choose Permissions, then under the “Allowed” section, choose each permission you would like to remove and set them to “Deny”. Please note that electing to opt-out will not stop advertising from appearing on your device when you use Tailwag Services. It may make the ads you see less relevant to your interests. Additionally, please note that if you use a different browser or device or erase cookies from your browser, you may need to renew your opt-out choices. Tailwag does not sell the personal information of its users. Tailwag uses Google Analytics and Unity Analytics in order to improve the content of our games and to adapt and personalize your experience and the ads shown through the Unity Ads service.

Adjusting your consent in your device settings will allow you to block the collection of data for these purposes and will de facto prevent the sharing of information with the Unity Analytics service and/or Unity Ads.


Rectification and erasure

In order for your data to be erased or rendered inaccessible you can either

reset your mobile advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAAID on Android) or activate “Limit Ad Tracking” in your device’ settings in order to make previously collected data non-linkable to you or your device anymore and limit further data collection if you choose to enable the “Limit Ad Tracking” option. Alternatively, you may contact Tailwag via the contact information at the bottom of this Policy, to request we delete, amend, or restrict access to your personal data.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our data and information privacy practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by means of a notice on the Services prior to change becoming effective.


Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority. Our supervisory authority is the FTC.
